I write to you from Poland. I speak a little Russian, but not much.

I'm going to visit your beautiful city. I have a family in here. There lives my groundmum's sister.

There is a little problem, so I have a few questions to you.

1) where does exacly Ive is? I haven't found as detailed map of Belarus to find Ive.
2) how to get there from Poland? I'm going to go by car, but maybe it is a better idea to go by plane to Grodno or Minsk?
3) is there an english-language version of this web (or the other one about Ive)?

I would be very gratefull for any answers.

Sorry, but I don know the sity of Poland from which you will arrive by car and cannot help in this problem. I thihk it questions we can deside in process of our disscussion.

I have just found at wikipedia some informations about Ivje (http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%98%D0%B2%D1%8C%D0%B5). It looks like Ivje is about 160km from Grodno. It is very good news to me, because Grodno is quite near to our border (about 20km). From Grodno to Ivje is about 160km. My city, Gdansk is at the Baltic Sea, near where polish biggest river Wisla goes into the sea. From Gdansk to Grodno is about 460km. So, all the way is about 650km. It should take about 12-14hours.

Does anybody know is there a good road from Grodno to Ivje? And which way I should go (to get there as fast as it posible)?

I am glad to see so early on my forum)) I am glad to know about you some things) I know city of Gdansk, because I travel some times in Poland. family of my uncle living now in the town of Shtum, near Baltic Sea.
If you desided to go to Iwje by car you can taken good road Grodno-Minsk, it normal road and you will be in Ivje in during 2 hours.
